REGION 8 HOLDS INTERMEDIATE WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT CLASS!

UAW Region 8 held an Intermediate Web design class June 15-18 2004 at the Regional Office in Lebanon, Tennessee. The class was taught by Region 8 Web Master and Local 2195 member John Davis.

Web Masters from several Region 8 states attended to learn how to design and use graphics and to also enhance their present Web Sites. They also refreshed on the previous class held last fall.

“Web Sites are becoming more effective in getting information from, and also passing it along,” states Region 8 Assistant Director Donnie Bevis. “We are planning to keep offering these educational classes every six months to beginners and intermediate Web Masters. We need to continue to educate our members on the advantages of the Internet so that others may learn about labor and unions!”
