Region 8 race fans start your engines, and get ready to race to the Nashville Superspeedway on June 12, 2004 for the UAW Region 8 NASCAR Family Day. A special event has been planned in conjunction with the Nashville Superspeedway for UAW Region 8 members, family and friends.

While the day will hold a number of fun activities, the main event is tickets for the Federated Auto Parts 300 NASCAR Busch series race to be held at 7:00PM that evening. The race will feature the stars of the NASCAR Busch Series and some Nextel Cup drivers as they race their way around the 1.3 mile Nashville Superspeedway track. Built in 2000, the Nashville track is one of only three concert tracks on the NASCAR circuit.

The race will cap a day that will include a concert (that begins at 5:00PM) on the Superspeedway front stretch by Country Music star Chris Cagle, hospitality tent at the race, pit passes, UAW/GM racing exhibit and then culminating with the Federated Auto Parts 300 under the lights at 7:00PM.

This event is being offered to UAW Region 8 members, their friends and family at the unbelievable price of $48 a ticket($5.00 shipping/handling for each order). Tickets can be order be either fax or mail.
