Local 1990 Press Release On Wednesday, July 23, 2008 the membership of United Auto Workers Local 1990 voted to accept NTN-Bower's implemented offer of December 31,2007 and end our work stoppage. We have notified the Company of our acceptance of their implemented offer and we will be returning to work. We, the members of this Local Union, take this opportunity to thank those in the communities who have greatly supported our efforts. It was through your donations of love and kindness that expressed your desire to see our community continue to improve through our wages and benefits, which we have greatly supported you with all of our working years. Our Union has and will, continue to promote social and economic justice for all workers, embodied by a workplace which is free from workplace injuries. There are too many faithful community members to list, but each of you will remain in our thoughts and prayers with our outward acknowledgement of APPRECIATION!
