The purpose of the Region 8 website is to educate, inform and illuminate the membership of the UAW, particularly that of Region 8. Due to the fact that all communication is more effective when it is two way, the UAW Region 8 member feedback section is designed to give our members a chance to express their thoughts and ideas. We realize this website is available to the general public, but all comments posted will be limited to UAW members.

While we welcome various thoughts and opinions for posting here, only those that can be considered constructive will be posted. If you disagree with something, then make certain your remarks are intended to provide an alternate view and not simply to criticize. No personal attacks will be permitted, with only discussion on general topics being allowed. Issues relating to individual local unions should be addressed at the local level, so comments should be limited to situations that concern the entire membership.
