Local 298 Supporting Local 788

Special thanks to UAW LU 298 in Largo, FL for making the 100+ mile drive each way, to show up and cook hundreds of spaghetti meals for the members holding the strike line against Lockheed Martin in Orlando, FL in support of Local 788.

Strike Continues at Lockheed By Local 788

Members of UAW Local 788 passed day 16 and the members are in this to win it. Member Arthus Franco thanks everyone for their support. “Another day of our Union Members at UAW Local 788 coming together in Solidarity, standing up against Lockheed Martin. Thank you UNITE HERE LOCAL 362 for coming out and supporting us again. I can't stop thanking you all. You are truly inspiring. Our love goes out to you all. Thank you to UAW Local 1821 for your support. Thank you Denise Harrison Heath for baking some of your delicious cupcakes and taking them to the strike line. Thank you to UAW Local 298 for providing us lunch and other supplies. You are an amazing group. Thank you Tammy Loden retiree for coming back out today. Also thank you to Mary Proud and Tony Gentile from FL Education Association for coming out a supporting us also. WE ARE UAW STRONG!!!!
