New TN/AL CAP Executive Board Sworn In

UAW Region 8 recently swore into office the TN/AL CAP Executive Board. Presiding over the ceremony was Region 8 CAP Representative Kevin Huddleston. The new executive board will be led by Chairman Rodney Wood. Rodney is the current President of Local 737 in Nashville, Tennessee. The Financial Secretary is Mark Wunderlin from Local 1853. Larry Williams will be serving as the Vice-Chair and represents Local 1413. Keisha Blocker from Local 2083 will serve as the Recording Secretary. Local 42, Chattanooga, Tennessee is represented by Steve Cochran who will fill the role of Trustee. Region 8 encourages UAW members across Alabama and Tennessee to become active in the democratic process during this midterm election cycle.
Many of the political races across Alabama and Tennessee will have direct implications for Union organizing and bargaining across the south. |
