National Veterans and Military Families Month – November
Under the leadership of Director Tim Smith and Assistant Director George Palmer, we are asking each Local Union to submit nominations for members to be recognized during National Veterans and Military Families Month.
Please submit the following:
- A clear, close-up photo of the member (large file if possible)
- Member’s name, military branch, and rank
- Years of service (if available)
- Local Union number
Submission deadline: Monday, October 26, 2026.
This will allow us time to prepare and schedule recognition posts for the Region 8 Facebook page and website. We encourage every Local to participate and help honor the women and men who have served our country.
Please submit all nominations to Amanda Goins, Agoins@uaw.net and Irene Rubio, irubio@uaw.net.
